Centre Stage Student
Centre Stage is an innovative, independent Performing Arts school offering equal opportunities to the complete beginner right through to the young professional performer. Students are taught the disciplines of Acting, Singing & Dance in a supportive, fun and creative environment.   Whether performing is a pastime or a passion we encourage students to develop at their own pace and we offer performance opportunities for students every term.

Performance skills build confidence and encourage team work.  At Centre Stage we take great pride in the social development of our students. We bring young people together in a vibrant and exciting community to explore the magical world of theatre and performing arts. No matter how large or small the goal, at Centre Stage we will drive you to surpass even your own expectations.

Our Upstaged production of The Penelopiad, performed at The Courtyard Theatre, was a great success. This production featured our older students, who have all have just returned from an exciting and successful week at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  Our next Upstaged Production is now in rehearsals.  '100' by Diene Petterle, Neil Monaghan & Christopher Heimann will be showcased at Theatro Technis in March and will then be taken to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2010. This group is for students aged 16 years and over.

Congratulations to all the cast members of our recent production of 'Hairspray' , held at The Clarissa Farr Theatre, Queenswood School. The production was a huge success and showcased the enormous amount of multi taltented young performers we are so proud of at Centre Stage. Rehearsal and backstage photos can be found on the Events page under Productions.

  A message from our Patrons
"We cannot recommend Centre Stage more highly. Every child is made to feel they have something to give and a talent to be explored. They have a highly skilled team of passionate teachers and the place has a real family feel to it. If you have a child who simply needs to grow in confidence or a child who has burning ambition to make it in the industry, Centre Stage serve both needs equally well."
